When you’ve got someone like Adama Traore in your ranks, it’s easy for other players to fall under the radar at Wolves.
The Spaniard has been in scintillating form this season, scoring six goals and providing a further ten assists in 43 games across all competitions. He has been a game-changer for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side, and naturally, can take some of the spotlight away from others.
But after an impressive appearance off the bench against Olympiacos in the Europa League on Thursday night, Pedro Neto may have just given Nuno plenty to ponder.

The Portuguese ace has featured 35 times across all competitions this campaign, but has namely been a presence coming on as a substitute rather than a starter. But having been brought on for Matt Doherty at half-time in Greece, Neto showed Nuno what he can bring to the table.
Whilst of course it must be said that the Greek side were down to ten-men at that point, Neto was the man who made the most of the advantage on the pitch. As per Sofascore, his 7.6 match rating was the highest of any Wolves player, and when looking at his underlying numbers, it is easy to see why.

Aside from his well-taken goal, he had two shots on target, provided one key passes, created one big chance, and earned two free-kicks too. Neto was a real force to be reckoned with thanks to his directness, and he showed some guile and craft in trying to make opportunities for his teammates too.
The £11.7m-rated ace gives Nuno a headache in terms of how to get the best out of him. With Adama being pushed further back to right wing-back, and pushing Neto into that right-wing slot, Wolves could be incredibly dangerous with two natural wide-men flying down one flank.
That could be a mouth-watering partnership for Wolves to consider utilising. But one thing is for sure. Neto’s cameo has certainly given Nuno something to think about.
Meanwhile, Wolves can’t afford to lose this ace amid Napoli interest.
