A number of West Ham supporters were critical of Jarrod Bowen’s first-half performance against Manchester United on Sunday.
The Hammers were looking to continue their impressive start to the season, with United making the trip to the London Stadium and Cristiano Ronaldo in the starting lineup.
It was clear that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side would pose a big threat, but David Moyes’ task was made even greater because star man Michail Antonio was suspended.
After a slow start, West Ham grew into the game, with Bowen having two good chances to open the scoring but fluffing his lines both times.
The winger struggled to get going throughout the opening 45 minutes, in which was a frustrating showing, eventually making a mistake in the build-up to Ronaldo’s equaliser.
