According to the ambitious Welsh club, currently competing in League One, have set their sights on bolstering their squad with a striker in January as they bid to continue their ascent through the English football league system. Underpinning Wrexham's plans is their solid financial backing. A major sponsorship deal is also expected to be unveiled next summer, placing the club in a strong position to make high-profile signings.

Wrexham's talismanic striker Paul Mullin is going through a rough patch and has managed to score just three times in 16 appearances, including a solitary strike in the league. Ollie Palmer has also struggled for consistency this season which has forced Phil Parkinson to look for additional reinforcements in the market. It is unclear which player they are targeting, but a striker is said to be priority number one for the club in the next window.
