Norway have included Odegaard in their squad for their games against Finland and Moldova during the September international break in a timely fitness boost for Arsenal. The Gunners captain landed heavily on his right shoulder during the 5-0 victory over Leeds at the weekend, sparking concerns over his availability for the huge clash with Liverpool on Sunday.

After his inclusion for the national team, there is renewed hope Odegaard could feature when Mikel Arteta's side travel to Anfield on Sunday. It's a handy bit of news for the north Londoners, who are already without Ben White, Bukayo Saka, Christian Norgaard and Kai Havertz due to injury.
